3 ACGs are appointed by Customs, and PRO is promoted along with 1489 other employees

Three Assistant Comptrollers General have been appointed by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Board (ACGs).

Greg Itotoh, Festus Okun, and Shuaibu Ibrahim are the new ACGs.

A statement from Superintendent of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada contains the approval.

1,490 senior officers of general duty and support staff, according to Maiwada, were elevated to the following grades.

Timi Bomodi, a Deputy Comptroller, has been promoted to Comptroller and is now the National Public Relations Officer.

Ajibola Odusanya, Paul Ekpenyong, Abubakar Umar, Musa Omale, Zanna Chiroma, Stanley Nwankwo, Maureen Ajuzieogu, and MO Bewaji are additional new Comptrollers.

128 Assistant Comptrollers (ACs) are now Deputy Comptrollers, while 64 Deputy Comptrollers (DCs) have been promoted to Comptrollers of Customs (CCs) (DCs).

According to Maiwada, 220 Superintendents of Customs (SCs) are now Chief Superintendents of Customs, and 89 Chief Superintendents of Customs (CSCs) have been promoted to Assistant Comptrollers (ACs) (CSCs).

Additionally, 302 Assistant Superintendents of Customs I (ASC I) have been elevated to Deputy Superintendents of Customs, and 107 Deputy Superintendents of Customs (DSCs) have been promoted to Superintendents of Customs (SCs) (DSCs).

According to the announcement, 357 Inspectors of Customs (ICs) have been promoted to Assistant Superintendents of Customs II, and 223 Assistant Superintendents of Customs II (ASC II) have become Assistant Superintendents of Customs I (ASC I) (ASC II).

Earlier, the NCS gave its approval for the elevation of 1,252 employees to the cadres of inspectors and assistants in customs.
