The Savannah Scorpions have hired Babaganaru as their new head coach.
The veteran strategist disclosed that the coaching team is focusing on the players’ fitness in front of the NPFL season.
“We are working tirelessly to get the players ready for the 2023-24 NPFL season,” he said to kuryaloaded.
“We are taking advantage of the best opportunity at hand to get the players to full fitness,” the coach said.
In their last four exhibition games, Gombe United have split their results, winning twice and losing twice.
Gombe United’s first game in the NPFL will be against Sporting Lagos on a date that has not yet been set.
