On Friday night, Ronaldo signed a contract with Al-Nassr that will pay him $175 million annually.
At the Saudi Arabian team, the former Manchester United forward will don the No. 7 jersey.
In response, Zelic expressed her displeasure with Ronaldo for joining Al-Nassr in a tweet sent via her Twitter account.
Zelic tweeted a link to a report about Cristiano Ronaldo joining Al-Nassr along with the message, “This just makes me sad for a multitude of reasons.”
Zelic, however, did not go into detail as to why Ronaldo’s action had such an impact on her.
