Aloy Ejimakor, special counsel to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to follow through on his pledges and talk with the agitator in the same way that Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, and Gandhi did.

Ejimakor advised that Tinubu release Kanu prior to any negotiations with him.

Ejimakor tweeted that they had taken this measure before entering into negotiations with Nelson Mandela of South Africa, Gandhi of India, and Martin Luther King, Jr. of the United States, US.

In the letter, he urged the president to make good on his pledge to NEGOTIATE the unrest. However, bargaining with a man restrained in CHAINS feels strange. To begin, the man must be set free. In the midst of Biafra agitation led by Kanu, Tinubu had vowed during the presidential election campaign to negotiate with all agitators in the Southeast.

Tinubu has promised to talk to any troublemakers in the Southeast into keeping the peace.

He urged that rather than turning to violence, individuals should try negotiating in order to get their requests and concerns met.
