Posted by Femi Fani-Kayode, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), welcomed Prof. Akin Oshuntokun, who was recently named director general of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council.
According to kuryaloaded, the Labour Party on Tuesday chose the former Olusegun Obasanjo assistant as the new campaign director general (DG) following Doyin Okupe’s resignation.
Fani-Kayode, a well-known opponent of the Obidient movement, responded by stating that the new DG is brave and intelligent and that Akin has been his close ally for the past 30 years.
But he argued that Peter Obi will still lose the upcoming elections even with Akin, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
Congratulations to my brother Bashorun Akin Osuntokun on his appointment as DG of the Obi/Dati PCC, the former aviation minister stated in a tweet posted on his verified account.
“I respect Akin, and for more than 30 years, we have fought numerous fights together against the same adversaries. Despite having switched sides, he will be a dangerous foe.
Even with a tough and brave spirit and smart intellect like Akin running their campaign, Peter the Pooh and Dati the Daft have absolutely NO chance of winning this election.
