In his first and a half months in office, Ademola Adeleke, governor of Osun State, has revealed that his administration has outperformed expectations.
The governor thanked the state’s massive population for rallying behind his administration and the PDP, and he promised to do more to keep the momentum going.
The governor expressed his satisfaction with the input from the population ranking his administration highly during a meeting with his policy coordinating unit on Sunday, according to a statement issued by his spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed.
Our program’s execution thus far has met my expectations. In just over 18 months since taking office, we have achieved more than anticipated. In the next six months, we must redouble our efforts in preparation for the midterm.
The general public’s reaction has been positive. In a variety of categories, including infrastructure, health, education, and workers’ welfare, our people have graciously awarded us an A-rating. It is imperative that we convey our gratitude to our people.
In addition, our party has solidified its position in most municipal administrations. We now have the full support of influential people who opposed me during the governor’s primary. As a result of the positive surprises our performance has been providing, we are making further progress.
The results of our combined efforts in physical and stomach infrastructure have been well-received by our employees. The road and its inhabitants will be constructed by us indefinitely. We will not sacrifice personal growth for societal progress.
Therefore, we need to make sure that the process of creating and implementing policies is well-coordinated. Under the five point agenda, we must effectively utilize our policy innovations in the following areas: power, digital economy, agricultural, general economic planning, investment drive, sustainable development, youth development, and gender focus, the statement stated.
