In the next week, Arsenal hopes to finalize contracts with four players.
Mikel Arteta, manager of the Gunners, will bring in Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber within the next two days.
The record-breaking £105 million transfer of Rice from West Ham will be finalized. The two London teams have already reached an agreement on the deal. However, they have yet to settle on the nitty-gritty particulars.
In addition, Arsenal will finalize a deal for Timber, a defender for Ajax who will sign a five-year contract with the Gunners. His price tag for the Premier League club is £40 million.
However, the North London club is also hoping to lock up star defender William Saliba to a new four-year contract.
They’d also like to finalize and unveil a new deal with forward Reiss Nelson. Since Nelson’s contract expired last week, Crystal Palace has shown interest in signing him.
Last Monday, the Gunners officially acquired Kai Havertz from the Chelsea for £65 million.
