Gianluca Scamacca, a standout for West Ham United, has praised Declan Rice, who is moving to Arsenal. He has likened the midfielder to Liverpool great Steven Gerrard.
Arsenal and Rice have agreed on a £100 million transfer fee plus £5 million in add-ons for Rice to join the club in the Premier League.
Scamacca thinks that Rice is worth more than £100 million, calling him the best player he has ever played with, and stating that £100 million and £5 million is too little for a player of Rice’s calibre.
The Liverpool legend Gerrard was compared to the English star.
Nima Tavallaey Roodsari was told by Scamacca:
“A price tag of £120m? It’s actually a bit too low. As a player, he is superb. I see a bit of Gerrard in him. I’ve never played with a better midfielder than him.
Rice apparently also had a successful medical. The team has not yet confirmed the transfer.
