As Kwankwaso storms the Delta and visits Asagba of Asaba, Asaba is locked down

Asaba was closed on Wednesday as the New Nigerian Peoples Party’s (NNPP) Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso invaded Delta State.

Asaba’s northern residents, particularly young people, paraded out to meet Kwankwaso amid hoopla and put on a demonstration with motorbikes and tricycles while chanting “Kwankwasiyya” and “Amana,” causing heavy traffic on the city’s key roadways from Koka junction to other streets.

Kwankwaso also paid a visit to HRM Obi Chike Edozie, the Asagba of Asaba, at his palace.

While urging Asaba’s residents to support the NNPP and all of its candidates in the upcoming 2023 elections, he also sought the monarch’s grace and support.

Obi Edozie, who invited Kwankwaso to his palace, prayed for him and the people in his party and gave him the advice to conduct his campaign peacefully, like that of other parties.
