Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has stepped down as the Blues interim Sporting Director.
The job has now been given to Christopher Vivell and Paul Winstanley by the club’s owners.
The two will now supervise transfer activity.
Following the summer departures of Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech, American millionaire Boehly assumed leadership.
In addition to appointing Vivell as technical director and Winstanley as head of international talent and transfers, the Blues’ owners have begun bringing in a new management group.
The Telegraph reports that Boehly is now only Chelsea’s chairman as Vivell and Winstanley will lead the Blues’ transfer strategy now.
They played a crucial role in Benoit Badiashile’s acquisition and were photographed with him.
Joe Shields, the co-director of talent acquisition, and Laurence Stewart will join the partnership.
