Buhari gives the security agencies a new directive

Before May 29, President Muhammadu Buhari has instructed security organizations to stop stealing crude oil.

Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources, delivered the order to soldiers participating in Operation Delta Safe.

On Thursday, Sylva paid a functional visit to military installations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He went to the Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder and the 97 Special Operations Group of the Nigerian Air Force.

Before leaving office, the President was determined to completely eradicate oil theft, according to the minister.

A few months previously, the nation’s leader had given a similar order, Sylva recalled.

“We have noticed a tremendous improvement, demonstrating that you took the president’s directive seriously.

Because of this, Mr. President sent us here with a message of praise for your bravery, he remarked.
