President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolences on behalf of all Catholics on the passing of former Pope Benedict XVI at the age of 95.
This information was sent to Daily Post on Saturday by Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Advisor for Media and Publicity.
The statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari expresses condolences to Pope Francis, the Catholic Church in Nigeria and around the world, as well as all Christian faithful who mourn the passing of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. This is on behalf of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Government and People.”
