Posted by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has lamented the deaths of three people and the injuries of six others in a road traffic accident on the Potiskum-Bauchi road.
Governor Buni’s spokeswoman, Mamman Mohammed, called the disaster as “terrible” in a statement made on Sunday.
“The fatalities and injuries were upsetting, but that was their appointed time by Almighty Allah’s decree,” he remarked.
Buni prayed to Allah for forgiveness, Aljannatur Firdausi, and the strength to bear the loss for themselves and their families.
He also prayed for the rapid healing of individuals who had sustained life-threatening injuries in varied degrees.
Similarly, Governor Buni expressed his condolences to the victims of the fire calamity in Damaturu’s Sabon Pegi district.
Governor Buni called the incident, which affected certain shops, as very sad and tragic.
