Calabar’s homeless youngsters will hear the good news of Jesus Christ from the mouth of Rev. Eyoanwan Otu, the governor’s wife of Cross River State.
She went around to the numerous hangouts the homeless kids frequented so she could have a better idea of what services the kids really needed.
Evang, Otu’s Special Assistant on religious concerns, was unable to attend, but Dr. Comfort Oko represented her there. Odo Bassey prayed aloud for the youngsters.
She took the time to talk to the kids and stressed the importance of working together to give homeless kids the help they need right now.
She said that some of the kids will be sent to school and that others would be helped if they wanted to learn a trade or talent.
She emphasized the value of fostering the potential of every kid and establishing an inclusive society as she urged the children to behave well.
