Applications are invited from international undergraduate and graduate students worldwide for the fully sponsored CERN Technical Studentship Program in Switzerland in 2023/2024.

Do you wish to work as an intern in Switzerland? Applications for the CERN Technical Studentship Program 2023/2024 are now available.

The CERN Technical Studentship is a four-month fully funded internship program at the CERN organization in Switzerland.

International Undergraduate and Graduate Students from all around the world are welcome to apply. IELTS or any other language test is not required. Each year, approximately 80 students are selected to enter the program.

It should be noted that the CERN Organization will reimburse all expenses. One of the world’s most well-known programs. ELIGIBLE FIELDS

Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Applied Physics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, General or Civil Engineering;

IT, mathematics, and robotics; material and surface science; mechanical engineering.
If your desired field is not listed above. Then apply for the CERN Administrative Student Program 2023 in the following fields:

translation, human resources, advanced secretarial work, business administration, logistics, law, finance, accounting, library and information science, engineering management, science communication, education, audiovisual, communication and public relations, psychology, audit, and engineering.

BENEFITS FINANCIAL

All participants who are shortlisted and chosen for this program will get full financing. CERN will cover the following topics:

A 4- to 12-month association contract.
A monthly allowance of 3319 Swiss Francs (net of tax).
A round-trip air fare allowance.
If you are married and/or have children, you may be eligible for a supplement.
CERN’s extensive health insurance program provides coverage (the contribution will be automatically deducted from your allowance).
Paid leave of 2.5 days every month.

Are you pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree right now? OR If you have graduated, you must apply for a summer internship in Switzerland.

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS

You are a CERN Member or Associate Member State national studying in a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
By the time the next student selection committee convenes in February 2023, you should have completed at least 18 months of your undergraduate education (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
During the internship, you continue enrolled as a full-time student.
You are fluent in either English or French.

To complete your application, you will need the following papers, clearly labeled (e.g. “CV,” “Motivation letter,” “Academic transcript,” etc.) and in PDF format:

SELECTION GUIDELINES

The first is: don’t rush!
To maximize your chances of selection, make your application fields “Education” and “Experience” as precise and specific as possible.
