Bello Matawalle, the governor of Zamfara State, has said that communities that were once in danger because of security problems are now safe and easy to get to for the 2023 general elections.

During a press conference at his country home in the Maradun Local Government Area of the State, the Governor said this. He was talking about the N30,000 minimum wage for state civil servants, thuggery, and other things.

Governor Matawalle asked Nigerians to keep helping the security forces so that the violence and instability that are affecting the whole country can end and peace, order, and stability can be restored.

He said he didn’t know where the rumor that the upcoming elections would be delayed because of insecurity was coming from. He also dismissed the idea that northerners would only vote for a northern presidential candidate.

The Governor said that his government had put in place the N30,000 minimum wage and was planning to give workers houses as a way to make them happier and more productive.
