Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has vowed to clear up the country’s ports administration’s misunderstanding.
On Sunday, Channels Television and its partners hosted “The Peoples Townhall,” where Obi participated.
He claimed that succeeding administrations purposely opposed opening up the ports and the economy.
“We will clear up the chaos in the port administration and put this nation back to work.
“You can see ports on every ocean. What is going on with Ibom? Take a look at the Shagari-founded terminal in Port Harcourt. It is not operating as it ought to. Look at the ports in Warri and Calabar; they purposely do not want to open their economies to trade,” he remarked.
