Fabinho, a midfielder for Liverpool, has been unable to complete his move to the Saudi Pro League because of his pets.
According to talkSPORT, the £40 million transaction has been delayed due to Saudi Arabia’s ban on French bulldogs.
Fabinho’s two cherished canine companions are French bulldogs.
Because of their “dangerous and aggressive” label, these canines are banned from entry into Saudi Arabia.
Other sources, however, state that Al-Ettifaq’s boss, Steven Gerrard, also had this issue.
Gerrard reportedly ran into similar problems when he tried to join Al Ettifaq as their new manager.
The former Liverpool captain was granted permission to keep his canines in the house.
