The team will do its last preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in either Spain or Morocco, according to Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso.
After two weeks of rigorous training, the squad left for vacation last Saturday.
The squad will continue camping on January 7 and a training tour of Europe is scheduled, according to Bosso.
In a radio interview on Sunday, Bosso stated, “The camp will begin January 7 and the training tour will either be in Spain or Morocco.”
The Flying Eagles were placed in Group A alongside the hosts Egypt, Senegal, and Mozambique.
On February 19, the seven-time champions will play Senegal in their opening match at the Cairo International Stadium.
After facing Egypt three days later, Bosso’s men will round up their campaign on February 25.
