Following his team’s 3-1 Premier League victory over West Ham United on Boxing Day, Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka tied the club legend Thierry Henry’s record.
At Emirates Stadium, Arsenal overcame a 1-0 deficit to defeat West Ham courtesy to goals from Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Eddie Nketiah.
With his goal against West Ham, Saka became the first player since Henry to score for Arsenal on three consecutive Boxing Day games in 2020, 2021, and 2022. (2002, 2003 and 2004).
Saka will now look to build on his impressive performance for Arsenal when they take on Brighton on Saturday.
Following Arsenal’s victory over West Ham, Henry told Prime Video that Saka, 21, should become a “player that is not kind” and a “killer threat.”
He recognizes how crucial winning battles are, as well as how crucial it is for him to develop a killing threat and become an unfriendly player, according to Henry.
