Sky Sports reports that Mason Greenwood would be left out of Manchester United’s preseason roster.
The Premier League club, though, will make a decision on Greenwood’s future before the start of the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old has been barred from participating in any further training or games at this time.
The Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault leading to actual bodily harm against Greenwood in February.
On January 30, 2022, United declared that the player would not be returning to training or playing any matches “until further notice.”
Electronic Arts revealed that Greenwood had been taken out of active squads on FIFA 22, and Nike suspended and ultimately cancelled its sponsorship contract with Greenwood.
