Mykhaylo Mudryk, a transfer target for Arsenal, has the support of Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi.
In advance of his team’s Premier League encounter at home against Arsenal on Saturday, De Zerbi made this statement during his pre-game news conference.
The 43-year-old claimed he enjoys working with Mudryk, who he coached at Shakhtar Donetsk.
Arsenal has been mentioned in connection with a deal for Mudryk in the January transfer window.
Although Mudryk is a superb talent, Brighton cannot afford to purchase him. Although I am Brighton’s coach, I like him because I like all of my ex-players, De Zerbi remarked.
“In the future, I believe Mudryk can win the Ballon d’Or. I am aware of Mudryk’s worth.
