Ian Wright, who used to play for Arsenal, told Chelsea Chairman Todd Boehly to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal.
He thought Felix, who is on loan at Chelsea right now, would do well in the Premier League like Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.
Felix joined Chelsea last week and will stay there for the rest of the season.
The Portugal international played well in his first game for Chelsea against Fulham, but he was sent off right away for a dangerous tackle.
Fernandes, who is from the same country as Felix, has done well at Old Trafford since he moved there from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.
“When I saw Joao Felix, he was really exciting to watch. “The red card wouldn’t worry me too much,” Wright said on the Ringer FC podcast.
Send the money now, Todd! Against Fulham, he could have scored three goals.
“If he keeps doing that, he might be like Bruno Fernandes when he gets to the Premier League.”
