The Nigeria Police Force is one of the most dependable forums for promoting the cause of national service, according to the IGP.

This was said by Baba at the Police Training College in Oyin-Akoko, Akoko North West Local Government, Ondo State, during the passing out parade of 374 newly hired constables.

The IGP, who was represented by Assistant Inspector-General of Police Yunus Akeera, who is in charge of Zone 17 Akure, emphasized that the involvement of young people in the nation’s police force would undoubtedly maintain the shared vision for an effective policing system.

He warned the incoming constables against acting in ways that could bring discredit upon themselves and the police force while reiterating that there was no room for indiscipline inside the organization.

The new constables would be deployed in 2023 to support the cops who would be on election duty, Akeera stated.

He admired President Mohammadu Buhari’s steadfast dedication to modernizing the Nigeria Police Force’s image.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adebayo Rafiu, and the Commandant of the Police Training College, Oyin-Akoko, congratulated the recruits and urged them to be selfless and patriotic in their work.

In order to maintain the greatest level of discipline and professionalism in the fulfillment of your statutory tasks, he added, “I also urge you to continuously refresh your newly acquired knowledge and abilities by putting all that you have learned into practice on the field.”
