Joao Felix, a forward for Atletico Madrid, will agree to leave the Spanish team in January on a loan.
Felix will depart from a La Liga team in January after struggling to make an impact on Diego Simeone’s squad.
The 23-year-old attacker was acquired by Atletico Madrid from Benfica in the summer of 2019 for €126 million (£108 million). The Euro 2016 champion, though, has struggled to fit into Simeone’s methods and outlook.
Atletico has decreased their asking price for the player to an amount of £8 million in an effort to cut their losses.
According to AS, Arsenal and Manchester United are leading the competition to sign the Portugal forward, and Felix is prepared to leave the team on loan next month.
