Lampard discusses being fired as Everton’s manager

Frank Lampard, the manager of Everton, has stated that he is still confident in his abilities and is not considering being fired by the Premier League.

On Tuesday night, the Toffees lost to Brighton 4-1 in front of their home crowd.

To put further pressure on Lampard, the visitors scored three goals in six second-half minutes.

The former Chelsea manager and the players were jeered off the field after the final whistle.

Everton has now only triumphed in one of their last ten league contests.

If results later this week turn against them, they will fall into the relegation zone.

Lampard, however, is still optimistic about his future with the team.

“Since I’ve been here, [both last season and this season] I’ve been fighting to stay up. I can’t stop the discussion, so I try not to pay attention to it.

Although I have a lot of self-confidence, I am unable to foresee the future. We can only focus on Manchester United’s upcoming FA Cup match, according to Lampard, who spoke to Sky Sports.
