Before hanging up his boots, Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has stated that playing with Argentina captain Lionel Messi would be a “dream.”
Lewandowski acknowledged that it is not in his hands to decide whether Messi will soon return to Barcelona, though.
In recent weeks, there have been rumors that Messi would return to Barcelona, but Joan Laporta, the club’s president, has stated that such rumors are unfounded.
Lewandowski responded to El Mundo Deportivo’s query about Mesis’ prospective return to Barcelona by saying: “It’s not up to me.
“Of course, we can observe that he now plays more like a “playmaker,” possibly scoring fewer goals while assisting teammates more frequently.
However, when contrasted to other periods, he is currently the footballer with whom any striker would like to share the field.
