Lorient of Ligue 1 has rejected Southampton of the Premier League’s offer of £15 million for their attacker Terem Moffi.
Skysports TV claims that Lorient is eager to sell the Nigerian international but is seeking more money.
During this transfer window, Southampton is eager to get Moffi to the St Mary’s Stadium to bolster their assault.
The Saints, who are now last in the standings, are hoping that Moffi’s goals will help them avoid the drop.
Other Premier League teams are reportedly interested in the Nigerian international, including West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Brighton & Hove Albion.
In 16 league games for Lorient this year, the 23-year-old has 10 goals to his credit.
