The wounded members of France’s national squad are invited to the Sunday 2022 FIFA World Cup final by President Emmanuel Macron.
Due to various injuries incurred in recent weeks, players like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Paul Pogba were all forced to withdraw from France’s amazing FIFA World Cup campaign.
But Macron hopes to engage players like Benzema, Kante, and Pogba at the very end by including them in this weekend’s World Cup match against Argentina.
Amelie Oudea-Castera, France’s minister of sport, reportedly confirmed Macron’s desire to invite injured players to the World Cup final to assist France against Argentina.
“I know that he is eager to do it and that it is being explored,” Oudea-Castera remarked. We’ll check to see whether it’s feasible.
Didier Deschamps, the head coach of France, was recently questioned following his team’s World Cup victory over Morocco about if Karim Benzema, who has recently resumed training, may sit on the bench during the final versus Argentina now that he has recovered from his injury.
Next inquiry, Deschamps stated pretty bluntly in response.
