Atalanta has turned down Manchester United and their £31 million bid for striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The Serie A club reportedly turned down Man United’s original approach but would consider an offer between £34 million and £39 million for the Danish star.
Man United is in talks with Inter Milan to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana, while they aim to finalize the transfer of Mason Mount from Chelsea next week.
Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli have valued Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen at more over £100 million, putting them out of reach for Manchester United this summer due to the club’s limited transfer budget.
However, Hojlund is also a strong possibility; the 20-year-old is rumored to be eager to reunite with Man United manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Last summer, Atalanta paid £15 million to acquire Hojlund from Sturm Graz.
