Modeste M’Bami, a former midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, has passed away.
M’Bami passed away from a heart attack on Saturday at the age of 40.
In a statement, PSG made this disclosure and expressed their sympathies to the M’Bami family.
“Paris Saint-Germain is in deep sorrow. At the age of 40, Modeste M’Bami passed away after a heart attack.
In a statement, Paris Saint-Germain expressed its sincere condolences to the man’s family and friends.
M’Bami played for a number of French teams, including Marseille and PSG.
In 2004 and 2006, the Cameroonian won the Coupe de France while playing for PSG.
Prior to his retirement in 2016, M’Bami played in Saudi Arabia, China, and Spain in addition to a brief stint with Le Havre.
