Recall that Messi left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer as a free agent and signed with Inter Miami.
The Argentine has made an immediate impact for Inter Miami, tallying 11 goals and five assists in 12 appearances spanning three competitions.
“He has received offers from the MLS, from many teams, and from Inter Miami in particular,” Mijatovic stated to le SER (via MD).
“Lionel Messi himself has expressed interest in the potential joining of Modric.”
The last year of Modric’s deal with Los Real Madrid has passed.
The 38-year-old transferred from Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2012.
