You may remember that Independiente del Valle of Ecuador confirmed a sale to Chelsea of promising teenage midfielder Paez.
In 2025, when he reaches 18, Paez will uproot to Chelsea.
Caicedo praised Paez, saying, “The kid has talent, and he’s a star.”
Kendry is a bright spot. It’s enjoyable to observe his performance. Caicedo was quoted as saying (through 90min) that it was “good to see those talents in Ecuador.”
