Neymar, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain, responded to Pele’s passing on Thursday night.

According to kuryaloaded, Pele’s family posted on the football legend’s official Instagram account on Thursday to share the news of his passing.

Since having surgery to remove a tumor from his intestines in September 2021, Pele had been getting routine medical care.

Near the end of 2022, the 82-year-old patient was readmitted to the hospital.

Neymar responded by writing on his Instagram account that Pele gave black people a voice and turned football into art.

“Before Pelé, 10 was only a number,” he wrote. This saying is one that I’ve come across in the past. However, this lovely sentence isn’t full.

“I’d say football was merely a sport before Pelé. Pelé revolutionized everything.

“He made football into entertainment and art. gave voice to the underprivileged, black people, and most importantly, Brazil.

“The King has elevated soccer and Brazil’s stature! His magic lives on even when he’s gone. Pelé is ALWAYS!
