Nigerian Police will add more constables to meet its labor needs, according to AIG

According to Okunola Kamaldeen, the Assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 6, the freshly graduating constables from the Police Training School would supplement their personnel requirements in the upcoming 2023 elections.

At the event for the graduation of 560 new recruits, he disclosed this information while being represented by Usman Alkali Baba, the Inspector General of Police.

The 2021 class of recruit constables was welcomed and deployed by Kamaldeen at the Police Training School in Odukpani, Cross River State.

In order to reposition the Force for efficient service delivery, he continued, the exercise is in line with the President’s direction for 10,000 new recruits each year across the nation’s 774 LGAs.

The AIG stated, “The recruits were trained in professional, legal, and liberal studies to enable them to carry out law enforcement, crime prevention/detection, and preservation of peace and order in the country. The statement was signed by SP Nelson A. Okpabi, Police PRO zone six.
