Pastor Adewale Giwa, the senior pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, made an appeal to President Bola Tinubu over the weekend to guarantee justice for the recently deceased afrobeat musician, Promise Oladimeji Aloba (a.k.a. Mohbad-Imole).
Giwa emphasized that doing the right thing in this case would not only be a fitting tribute to Mohbad’s legacy, but would also give people faith in Nigeria’s judicial system again.
The priest claims that Nigerians who are still mourning the loss of their loved one want nothing more than justice.
The priest emphasized that, despite Mohbad’s musical aptitude, he was a troubled man who continues to endure pain even in death.
Bringing those responsible for the death of the young man (Mohbad) to justice is one thing President Tinubu can do to make Nigerians happy. He endured pain both in life and after he passed away.
“As is common knowledge, an autopsy is a surgical operation during which a body is dissected in great detail.
Before they can analyze whatever it is, they’ll have to remove all of his organs. This man endured pain not only throughout his lifetime but also in the afterlife.
I’m writing to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because, ultimately, his administration decides who gets to serve in law enforcement. I’m pleading with him to find those responsible for the young man’s death and punish them.
