In response to Raheem Sterling’s home being broken into while he was away at the 2022 World Cup, Chelsea manager Graham Potter said Sterling is “as excellent as you can be.”
Sterling missed England’s victory over Senegal because he took a flight from Qatar to the UK to be with his family.
Prior to the Three Lions’ semi-final loss to France, he returned to the group, though.
When Chelsea plays Bournemouth on Tuesday, Sterling is anticipated to play.
As good as it is possible to be, he is good.
“At this point, all we can do is make sure he is as secure as we can.
He was upbeat about it, but Potter said he returned focused on the game and aware that we could all do a little bit better.
