Marcus Rashford has been advised by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to sharpen his emphasis on scoring goals for the Red Devils.

Since the English domestic leagues resumed after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Rashford has scored four goals in four games for Manchester United.

The England international has scored goals against teams like Burnley, Wolves, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest.

Speaking ahead of Friday’s FA Cup third-round match between Man United and Everton, Ten Hag believes Rashford can improve even more if he heeds his advise.

In his pre-game press conference on Thursday, Ten Hag advised Rashford to keep his emphasis on scoring goals at all times, regardless of whether he was in the game or not.

“Players like Marcus, as well as others on our team—Anthony Martial is the same—have the skills to drastically alter the course of a game when they remain in it mentally focused and giving it their full attention.

He will score more goals and help the team have a good season if he improves that skill.
