Residents of Kaduna State and its surroundings have vowed to turn out in large numbers and vote for candidates of their choice in the February 25, 2023, presidential election as a result of the state’s substantially improved security condition.
The presidential election will take place on February 25, 2023, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC.
Some state citizens who spoke with kuryaloaded in Kaduna on Friday stated their readiness to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice if all forms of insecurity are eliminated and their ability to exercise that right is not restricted.
They vowed to vote for a candidate who would further democracy while remaining silent about their preferred candidates.
Businessman John Abdul stated that he is prepared to vote if there are no security lapses.
Federal employee Delicious Moses stated that she was prepared to exercise her right to vote if given the chance. Additionally, the small food vendor Musa Arungo said, “I have taken a lesson from this current government, and I am prepared to vote when the time comes.”
Kaduna Polytechnic employee Hajara Musa stated that she has her PVC on hand and is prepared to utilize it when the time comes.
While there is still some instability in the state, it has significantly decreased since security personnel were distributed around the 23 local government units to deal with the bandits and other criminals terrorizing the region.
