Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that he is prepared to begin his career as soon as possible in the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

On Tuesday, the 37-year-old was formally introduced to delighted Al Nassr supporters.

Ronaldo, who will reportedly earning over £160 million annually, might make his professional debut either on Thursday against Al Ta’ee of the Saudi Pro-League or on Saturday against Al Shabab.

I’m a special player, he declared. I broke every record in Europe. Here, I wish to break a few records.

“This contract is special, but because I’m a special player, it’s ordinary for me. I honestly don’t care what other people think. I’m overjoyed to be here, very overjoyed.

“I’ve watched a lot of games, so I know how competitive the league is. If the coach feels there’s a chance, I’d like to play after (Wednesday). I want to continue playing football.
