According to the Spanish news agency Sport, Saudi Arabia is preparing to change its marital laws to permit Cristiano Ronaldo, the new signing for Al Nassr, to live in the kingdom with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
The marital legislation in Saudi Arabia forbids cohabitation between unmarried couples.
According to the article, Ronaldo and Rodriguez will cohabitate in Saudi Arabia and are unlikely to face legal repercussions.
Following the termination of his contract with Manchester United in November, Ronaldo just signed for Al-Nassr.
The Saudi Arabian team signed a contract with the Portugal captain that would keep him there through 2025.
This Thursday, the 37-year-status old’s as an Al-Nassr player was formally announced.
Ronaldo made a commitment when he joined the team to support the growth of Saudi Arabia as a whole as well as the sport in Al-Nassr.
