Tevez explains why I didn’t congratulate Messi on winning the World Cup in Qatar

Former Argentina player Carlos Tevez has admitted that he must have abused the phone if he failed to send the captain Lionel Messi a letter of congratulations for winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Tevez, who played for Argentina in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups, said it makes him happy to watch his two daughters, Florencia and Katia, cheer Messi’s goals while the competition is taking place in Qatar.

The striker, who has played for both Manchester City and Manchester United, was a former international teammate of Messi’s.

Recall that Messi led Argentina to victory over France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final, which resulted in a shootout.

Tevez was not one of the public figures who would have congratulated the Paris Saint-Germain striker on Argentina’s historic 2022 FIFA World Cup victory at the time.
