Posted by Ladan Bosso, who is in charge of the Flying Eagles, will now send in his final list of 21 players for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on January 25.
All 12 countries that were going to take part were supposed to send in their final lists on January 20.
A team official told SCORENigeria, though, that the new deadline for submissions is January 25.
The new date will give Bosso enough time to work with professionals who live and work abroad.
At the end of the month, the seven-time champions will go to Morocco to train.
In Group A, the Flying Eagles will play against Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal.
