The PDP accused Tinubu and the APC of stealing money to buy votes

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his team of stockpiling fresh naira notes in order to buy votes in the upcoming election.

In a statement issued on Sunday, PDP national publicity secretary Hon. Debo Ologunagba blamed Tinubu for the pains Nigerians are experiencing as a result of the currency crisis.

He stated that the PDP is disappointed and concerned about the monetary shortage that ordinary Nigerians are facing.

He asserted that the victory of the PDP’s nominee, Atiku Abubakar, in the February presidential election would put an end to Nigerians’ hardships.

“However, our party is saddened that the cash constraint has remained due to the sabotage of corrupt APC officials, especially the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who are said to have masterminded the intercepting and hoarding of fresh notes for their selfish purpose,” he said.
