“The world has lost a giant with Mohbad’s passing.” Iwo’s Oluwo

The death of artist Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, alias Mohbad, has been termed as a monumental tragedy by the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi.

The king or queen has also requested that the authorities look into the singer’s death.

Oba Akanbi, through his spokesman Alli Ibraheem, has issued a statement urging the young people protesting this situation to do so in a peaceful manner.

He pleaded with Mohbad’s devoted fans to stop protesting in the streets and go home, saying, “I commiserate with his immediate family and the entertainment industry.” If not handled appropriately, the demonstration could be taken over by criminals.

The parties involved are already hard at work to bring Mohbad justice. The government needs the youth’s help, therefore they must behave peacefully and cooperatively.

Again, I pray that Mohbad’s soul finds eternal peace.
