Femi Ogunrombi, who was known as Papa Ajasco and worked in Nollywood for many years, has died.
Husseini Shaibu, who works in theater, said on Twitter on Sunday that Papa Ajasco had died.
Shaibu wrote, “I just heard from a reliable source that the ethnomusicologist, former music teacher with @NATIONALTROUPE, and one-time stand-in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character in the popular @waleadenugaprod Comic Series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is DEAD!”
Ogunrombi was known for the famous part he played in the movie Papa Ajasco, a comedy about a family with a womanizing father, a promiscuous mother, and a lover boy son.
