We want to retake control of Africa. Boss of the Flying Eagles

Ladan Bosso, the head coach of the Flying Eagles, has stated his team’s goals for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

In the competition’s group stage, the seven-time champions will compete against the hosts Egypt, Mozambique, and Senegal.

After winning the WAFU B championship in Niger Republic in May, the Flying Eagles are among the favorites to take home the trophy.

The 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup will be held in Indonesia later that year, and the U-20 AFCON will act as the qualifiers for that tournament.

Bosso said that finishing first in the Egyptian competition is still his top aim.

Bosso told reporters in Abuja, “I hope we go to the World Cup in Indonesia as the champions of Africa. We won the WAFU qualifications in Niger Republic.”

Putting that aside, I aim to make up for the Flying Eagles’ disappointing performance in 2007. I want to fully execute it in order to improve it.
