The former deputy governor of Jigawa State, Ahmed Mahmoud Gumel, has come under fire from the state’s governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, for his remarks about the All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the organization.

While speaking to APC supporters in Birnin-kudu Local Government, Governor Badaru responded.

According to kuryaloaded, the former deputy governor claimed that his time spent with the APC was filled with misery and agony.

He claimed that the APC administration had fallen short of the needs and ambitions of the average person and noted that the party was not prepared to triumph in the upcoming general election in 2023.

Governor Badaru responded to the statement by saying that they had prayed for God to reveal those who were undermining the APC.

“May Almighty Allah keep exposing the dishonest, dishonorable, and those who used to tell lies and swear on propaganda.

Badaru declared, “That man who was suggesting we weren’t prepared to win is the one who isn’t honest, which is why he switched to another party.
