Cole Palmer has moved from Manchester City to Chelsea in a deal that could cost up to £42.5 million.
The first £40 million will be paid by the Blues, with add-ons covering the remaining sum.
Palmer’s price was reduced from City’s initial valuation of £50 million to a compromise price of £40 million plus an additional £2.5 million in add-ons.
With the purchase of the midfielder, Chelsea has already spent £1 billion since Todd Boehly took over the organization last year.
