Former Germany international Roman Weidenfeller has declared Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois the greatest in the world right now.

Weidenfeller praised Courtois’ expertise, noting that the Belgian international won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid last season.

Courtois has been in superb form since joining Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2018.

The 30-year-old took over for veteran Keylor Navas at the Santiago Bernabeu and has since become Los Blancos’ unquestioned No. 1.

Weidenfeller told KhelNow about the best goalkeeper in the world:
